Installation Instructions
- Remove all old GeForce graphics drivers and 3D Vision drivers.Refer to Figure 2 for a list of older drivers to uninstall.
- Download the Release 260 GeForce driver kit and the 3D Vision Controller Driver
- Install the Release 260 Graphics driver. You may be promoted to uninstall older drivers first.
- After installation, you should see a message that says the Install has finished and the GeForce Driver and 3D Vision Driver are now installed
- Install the 3D Vision Controller Driver
- Browse to the NVIDIA Control Panel > Set-up Stereoscopic 3D page and click the button to Enable Stereoscopic 3D to start the 3D Vision Setup Wizard to complete setup.
I have had alot of trouble over the months with Nvidia releasing drivers and program updates that screw things up (Ex. lower frame rates for older games or freeze ShadownPlay inhibiting recording for YouTube). I separately install Nvidia drivers and then later install older version of GeForce to form a hybrid installation package. This section is just for understanding and updating while testing various combinations of drivers and GeForce.

1. Use DDU Uninstaller (safe mode 'clean and restart' option) http://www.wagnardmobile.com/ [wagnardmobile.com]
2. Install desired driver (custom installation) (perform clean install) (uncheck bundled geforce version)
3. Download and install Geforce separately and install.
4. Turn on Shadownplay and restart
5. You are good to go until GeForce prompts you for an update
6. When you get a forced update search c:programdatanvidiacorporation (GeForce Experience Folder-Update Folder-setup.exe (delete this file)
7. After deleting this file or putting it in a separate safe place outside of specified folder you should be good to go.
Everyone has different cards so you can test your own for best results but this is a general framework. Tests ongoing but, if you do not play older games and want most recent drivers definitely, still stick with v2.5.15.46 GeForce because nothing else more recent works. I would love to hear from Nvidia and AMD owners. Feel free to comment below on your current driver/gamecapture setup and problem solving skills.
